Michael Krikorian is a writer from Los Angeles who covers the street gangs of Los Angeles's Southside and counterpoints that gritty urban drama with fanciful tales of food and travel. He is currently working on "Westside", the second of his four-book saga featuring crime reporter Michael Lyons and the streets of Los Angeles. The first book, "Southside" set in Watts, Green Meadows and Downtown, has been critically acclaimed, but hasn't sold so hot. "Westside",partially set on Mapleton Drive in Holmby Hills, will feature more white people.
